DJ, what a result that would be. Wonderful!

I fear a little tonight for David Haye coming up against this beast.

He has a mammoth task to overcome, not impossible but very big task, not for the faint hearted.

I used to box myself a good few years ago and from my experience of fighting a taller and much bigger fighter, I found you could get in very close and hit loads of body punches which will do the some damage.

The problem is when you come out of the close grips, he then has the reach, the power to remove your head if he lands one and believe me he we only need one on the end of Hayes chin and it will be MAMBO NUMBER FIVE!

I really do hope Hayes wins, I cannot see him knocking the big fella out, because you need to be carrying some punch to knock this type of fighter out and you may need many off them to infict any type of damage of a fighter like him.

Could go the distance if the ref allows Hayes to keep in close, but will make for a boring fight and ref's generally don't allow to much of this.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than for you to post on here after the fight that you got your bet in!

For me there will be no bet's on the fight and I will just be a spectator wiiling Haye on to win! goodluck

Haye will win on points assuming he doesn't get knocked out, 3/1 looks a decent price for Haye to win on points

I think Haye will have to knock him down before he starts to get tired, therefore Haye to win in rounds 4/5/6 all 33/1. Past round 6 then its Valuev.

I think he could well be in serious danger with this guy. sad

He will have to do something special to win this as the home turf will demand nothing less.
He his up against it big time, this guy is no mug and he don't look that slow either.
No Bet for me on Haye. thdown

It is not a complete no no, but it is like backing a 100/1 in the national and it having to win.

But this year proves if anything it can happen, rarely but can happen.

I will be routing for you mate. I won't bet on it because It isn't my type of bet.

I am looking forward to the fight tonight because I enjoy a good fight and I am hoping we can get maybe five or six rounds in before something happens! If anything to cover the cost of paying for it on Sky!

I have a feeling DAR RE MI will spring a suprise tonight in the Breeders CUP TURF! Now I would have a flutter on that one! Wink

goodluck

I,ve backed the big fella to win inside the distance at 7/2 .Not keen on Haye running his mouth off about the bloke being the ugliest guy on the planet ..If the ruskie catches him on that suspect chin of his [ and he is a blown up cruiser] Haye wont be looking too pretty himself !! What a state the division is in by the way for these two muppets to be fighting for the same crown held by Ali ,Frazier etc.

jeepster, there speaks the voice of reason.

Your backing with your head. I hope your wrong because I would love to see Haye to win because he is British!

But a wise man would go with the big fella!

Anyway, may the best man WIN!

My old mate Glenn McCrory is on the panel tonight on Sky. Now he was a big hard lad. One of the nicest blokes in boxing Glenn. True gentleman.

Just backed Haye £50.00 @ 5/1 to win via k/o or t/k/o

and the big fella £50.00 @ 7/1 to win via k/o or t/k/o

obviously no points decisons, so any type of k/o of either boxer.

Stands me £100, worst case returns me £300, hopefully I might make some money on this fight!

Wink

Yeah. buts odds are dire. I could ltd my loss now. but the big fella could down him at any time!

Cannot see Haye k/o now.

The decison with go to the big feela, the judges wont give it any other way!
