looks like its goin to be soft/heavy at worcester on wednesday, i would expect withdrawals & suprises for sure, so im still going to bet these 3 but the weather spells a wealth warning
1.50 - ORIGINAL FLY lost
Ex fred bred originally purchased to reach great heights with Paul Nicholls, but for some reason lost his way with the champion trainer & ended up with Donald McCain. They attempted chasing with him & that failed also, they then went back to hurdling & within a few weeks the horse ran away with a class 3 2m4f Aintree hurdle race off a mark of 104. The hanicapper put him up to 113 & the horse ran as if something was amiss, that was in the autumn of 2007, now 2 years on, still under the same ownership,he re-appears in a class 4, courtesy of the handicapper dropping him back to a mark of 105. Being french bred he should relish soft conditions & if the McCain camp have him ready to go it wouldnt suprise me at all of a win. 1pt win @ best price i can get.
3.50 - ANY CURRENCY lost
This horse picks itself for me, on account of the outstanding trainer form, yes the trainer who gave me a 100/1 placer, indeed his other runner won the race @ 8/1!!. This horse i have seen in the flesh live on course & he is a strapping chasing type, he cant possibly beat the Nicholls hotpot Pride of Dulcote on collateral hurdle form, but stable form counts for a lot & you dont know POD will jump as brilliantly as he does on the schooling module at Dicheat. 1pt win @ sp
4.50 - CELTIC BOY lost
Big ground worries here on this one, but his lifetime course form at worcester reads 113 and for that reason alone has to be backed each way. 0.50pt each way at best price i can get.
3pts staked

thanks for your kind words, i already am getting paid, i back them all to my advised staking policy. Quids in at the moment, but there's a long way to go till cheltenham in march, lets see where we are then.
cheers
today at worcester was crap for me, not a sniff from any of the 3 i put up, but it shows to me yet again the value of betting in small stakes to yield high returns. Im sure there will be opportunities to put my betting boots on and cut loose in the coming weeks, but for now i shall continue with my small staking policy.
Carlisle on thursday is where the action is for me. I have 4 10pt maximum bets...
only joking
im repeating what i did at cheltenham last friday, because my main fancy of the day runs in my last race, so im going to try & load the stake up by having a winner in 3 of the preceding races as follows
3.15 - HIGH BIRD HUMPHREY 0.50pt win
3.45 - ZITENKA 0.50pt win
4.15 - LONGSDALE 0.50pt win
4.50 - BALLYNURE
i quite fancy this one today, so im going to have 3 x 0.50pt win doubles on the first three. Again if one pops in, then i have a rather juicy bet going onto BALLYNURE
If all 3 fail to trouble the judge, i will have a 2pt win bet on BALLYNURE

3.15 - HIGH BIRD HUMPHREY 0.50pt win unlucky with that one caught right on the line
3.45 - ZITENKA 0.50pt win
4.15 - LONGSDALE 0.50pt win
4.50 - BALLYNURE

chinned on the line twice in one day! Thats racing and im glad im keeping to my low staking because i was sorely tempted to have my biggest bet of the season so far on BALLYNURE, restraint paid off, it feels like a winner having not risked a big bet
Fakenham on friday and three catch my eye for modest investment purposes...
2.20 - FORT WILLIAM 0.50pt win n/r
4.20 - WHATS UP DOC 0.50pt win fell
4.50 - MAD PROFESSOR 0.5pt each way at best price i can get 2nd @ 33/1 50/1 taken
nothing exciting really, just 3 little bets on a quiet day, all three have the credentials to run big races in their chosen grades.
sorry i havnt time to go into more detail on why i think they will run well, time isnt on my side tonight

how on earth did MAD PROFESSOR get up & nab 2nd on the line i will never know, but at 50/1 each way its nice when they go in yr favour unlike yesterday.
profit so far +75.25
National hunt steps up a gear this weekend with good quality action to be had from Aintree and Chepstow, sorely tempted to have a big bet but i will keep things low key still for now.
here's the bets..
Chepstow 1.55 - RING THE BOSS 0.50pt each way
Aintree 1.40 - LYSANDER 1pt win
and then im having a crack at 2 sue smith runners at Aintree, i will be happy if they both place.
Aintree 2.50 - BE BRIEF 0.50pt win
Aintree 4.00 - CAMDEN GEORGE 0.50pt win
im going to indulge in a 1pt each way double on the pair also.
66/1 2nd.. 9/1 Wins.. 50/1 2nd... C`mon Chico must do better LOL. I tell ye this guy is unbelievable. One fine day soon we`re all gonna clean up, throw in 1 good un via TheActor,a TBR Irish special, JoeMugg with his absurd 25/1 [Wee Chance] shot and such a perfect day, Willor gets a cheeky wee Phone Call.
