if i were doing an e/w on those two races i would prefer COSMIC SUN/RED MERLIN but then i cant see why becausewecan cant make it in the first 3

I can t see beyond Hatton Flight in this one.

A real fighting mentality and a reasonable weight to carry - and you can't say that about many of the others (including Red Merlin).

Excellent value at 9/1.

There'll be a pretty big betting turnover on this race so we can confidently expect the less-scrupulous bookies to bung a trainer to withdraw his horse.

If you back him to place anywhere but on the exchanges, you obviously have far greater faith in human nature than I do. Wink

there is a serious contender in the shape of DRILL SERGEANT hes a confirmed front runner and he beat hatton flight last time out not saying he will do it today but dettori normaly rides this one and if the race goes anything like it did last time this one could cause an upset

That's true but a little research will tell you Hatton Flight unseated his jockey about 3 inches into that 12-furlong race - which gave Drill Sergeant (and every other runner) something of an advantage from that point on. Wink
