IRISH TTC COMPETITION RULES

1. HORSE SELECTION
Players must select in FIVE RACES ONLY.

Select 1 horse per race, and NAP 1 horse. Please post the race time alongside the selection. Players cannot post an entry for another player.

In the event of more than 5 selections being posted only the first 5 will be scored.

2. CHANGING SELECTIONS & EDITING POSTS
A player can EDIT posts to change selections, but if the edit time is later than the advertised off time of the first race the post is void.

3. ENTRY DEADLINE
Entries must be posted not later than the advertised off time of the first race. If the time of the post, or edit time, is 1 min after the off time the post will be void.

4. TIE BREAKER
In the event of a tie the following criteria operate in order:

(a) Highest odds for winning NAP
(b) Highest odds for any winner
(c) First posted entry (message board time)

5. SCORING

RACE SCORING

1st - 40 pts
2nd - 20 pts (Min 5 Runners)
3rd - 10 pts (Min 8 Runners)

NAP scores DOUBLE POINTS

5/1+ WIN - 10 pts
5/1+ NAP - 20 pts
10/1+ WIN - 20 pts
10/1+ NAP - 40 pts

PLAYER TTC SCORING

1st - 40 pts

THURSDAY'S jump fixture at Killarney has been cancelled following a 7.30am inspection.

A heavy band of overnight rain left the track waterlogged and conditions were deemed unraceable on the third day of their August festival.

Officials at the course have also called a further inspection at 7.30am on Friday morning to assess prospects for the evening meeting on the same day.

Cliff Noone, Irish Turf Club press officer, said: "The track received a hell of a lot of rain on Wednesday night and the chase track is saturated.

"As there were three chase races on the card, there was no way the meeting could go-ahead.

"There are sunshine and showers forecast for the next 24 hours.

"There is a fresh strip of ground to be raced on for Friday's meeting, so they are hopeful of a positive outcome from the inspection."
