Not one to knock good solid info but you still have to pay for it! even though it is only 25p a min it is still a daily cost.
I wonder what the annual winners/runners ratio is and the overall profit in pts? Perhaps Mick can tell us and then he may get more (or less) people phoning!
tallrozzer, if you want an explanation, pls see my posts below on the Mr. Wolf thread.
Mick and Mugz, how about a sticky at the top of this site to explain to newbies? Many people are completely confused by the apparent discrepancy between the strict "no links to tipsters' services which charge" rule elsewhere on BOTB, and what goes on in this area. When they question it, they then immediately get unfairly slagged off by a few other members.
Would save a lot of handbags (sorry, don't have Clocker's facility with posting images of varieties of handbags )
With respect pass winners are a myth you either spend 25p or you don't. It doesn't make me rich and I have already said what the reason for the phone is. I could say I have had one losing season to SP in 8 years and nobody has ever lost money if they do as they are told at early prices...but hey what does that mean you could still lose a fortune and so could I.
Any thing I say on here can be verified by the members who take the info. One thing I will say is is that this is arguably the most transparent service for just 4 months of the flat and it doesn't cost people anything upfront that is why I close it before I start. Anyone could have had the info for free before the start moggy so I think the pay for bit is not really a fair thing to say. After all the line has to be paid for and not many ring it really, and of course, you must agree that if anything is deemed good it normally comes with some cost. I don't expect to get my daily Mars Bar for free and that's 45p.
Overall, I know that everyone is winning who takes my emails what I don't know is that everyone who phones the line is not necessarily winning cos you have to follow the info in it's entirity and if you didn't phone when there was a 20-1 winner or when Holbeck Gyll won the dash yer knackered. Discipline is what makes a winner and if yer not disciplined don't follow the line..best advice I could give and it's a hardly a sales pitch is it??
Thanks for responding Mick in such a forthright and open manner. I have not been here that long and now appreciate where you are at. Since I work it is not possible for me to phone everday but I will certainly give your line a go in the future. As for Joe Mugg's comment he has clearly missed my "dressed up point"-Just will say that if I could'nt afford to bet I would not be here!!
"Not one to knock good solid info but you still have to pay for it! even though it is only 25p a min it is still a daily cost."
I thought your point was that you wanted the stuff for nothing as you thought 25p was a lot.
"I wonder what the annual winners/runners ratio is and the overall profit in pts? Perhaps Mick can tell us and then he may get more (or less) people phoning!"
I though your second point was that you were only going to phone the 25p line if mick could proof his last few months or so winners/profit.
sorry if i picked it up the wrong way !

Mick, first of all thank you.. great stuff as of late.. if possible could you clarify when your "info" is given out, the reason why is because i dont know when to phone you next.. not a complaint.. just a request.. Keep up the good work!!
Here is another important point about a phone line. If it was there to make money the message would be on very early.....like now, however, it isn't. I try to get on before racing but I like to let members get the price first and most important the 2 guys I've handicapped for for years like to get there cash on as well before all and sundry knows. They do bet big at times.
When there is evening racing I let people know when I intend to put the bet out on the afternoon line. If you phone at 1pm it is rare the info is not out by then.
