Yesterday's bet was withdrawn which was a shame having waited so long for it to run.
We have a bet today that should be a walk in the park and if we were to forgive the horses last run it really should be a max bet. The only thing that stops this being a max bet is that I'm a little bit concerned about the lack of pace which was the main reason for the horses defeat last time out. The horse is Manchurian who won at Goodwood in the style of a horse that has finally found his level after looking overrated for the past year.He did get the run of the race though and Jamie Spencer was able to use his famous show off tactics. The Goodwood race was rated 75 and the horse should have won the 72 rated leicester race off 79. Jamie rode an identical style race but misjudged the pace and before he got going the race was over.
Today the horse is top weight and clearly the best horse on show and provided he gets a tow should win this doing handsprings. It's an obvious drop in class as I rate it a 68 rated race. Price should be shorter IMO and I will be very surprised not to collect.
