Nice 15/2 winner Mick. Ive been surprised by some of your recent bets which dont seem to fit the old Mick Taylor criteria for a bet, and I dont think its a coincidence that last nights winner was running on good-firm. Too many of the recent selections have not.
I take that as constructive criticism Mugz and in hindsight you are absolutely correct. In fact I don't think I've had so many "no bet" days ever and a little over confident maybe after Royal Ascot. I wasn't really practicing what I preach. A few days off, a serious personal bollocking and I'm better. I think the one thing in my armoury is that I am known equally for my losing runs something that can be hard to take for some who do not know me, but it cannot be argued that I always pull it back by backing at the right price something that will never change.
Just watched the rerun of today's bet Oasis Knight winning very easy at 8-1 so that has infact saved a decent bet for tonight aswell cos we no longer need to back what looks a good thing.
Beaten 3 lengths in listed company. Don't do odds on's but it should have been a cake walk but it happen's eh. Would be surprised if a few didn't make a few bob off that defeat
