Don't know if many guys here are into boxing, but just wanted to gather some thoughts on this fight on the weekend. The Russian is huge but slow and he could take a pounding from the much more mobile Brit. but on the other hand the Giant Russian land the knockout punch that he holds?

I took Valuev to win by points at @2.87 4 weeks ago, since then the price fall to @2.00.Does it tell u anything Tony?Haye Ko?don't make me laugh mate, the diference in size is huge and i don't think haye can make much harm to valuev.haye cn only win by points if he will dance around valuev and punch him non stop otherwise valuev will wipe him out.haye has very bad attitude and he will never be a champion,never...

I took Valuev a couple of weeks ago as his price was just way too big. I'm half tempted to lay him off now and just take a small profit as being English I really want to cheer for Haye! I can look past all the mouthing off as that's just boxing hype and its always worse when they are trying to sell Pay-Per-View subscriptions, even if its one-sided.
I think Haye's only chance is an early stoppage. Haye is pretty quick and powerful but I'm not sure he is powerful enough to knock the big man out, perhaps if he manages to land several in short succession he can but I'm still not convinced enough to think backing him is a good bet.
If it gets past the 3rd round without Haye knocking him down its the Russians fight to win. Haye has only boxed 7 rounds in the past 2 years and if he wears himself down in the first few rounds he may not be able to match Valuev's work-rate.

speed and explosiveness will create more power then that big slow lump of turd. Haye hits him with a overhand right a few rounds in or combo and its all over. Haye won't let him lean on him and the guy hasent got the skills or footwork to control Haye like that. Im waiting to see what hapens with my Villa bet and i'll likely bet on Haye. The big worry is a robbery like the last UFC and Valuevs fight against Holyfield.

Hayes been shooting his mouth off for months, entertaining tho he is I hope Valuev knocks him out as he might then start showing his opponents some respect!
Saying this I'm predicting a Haye win on points, but I still hope he takes some punishment.
Think thats a safe bet. Haye should be too fast and technical. Valuev never been knocked down before so I cant see how a heavy cruiser weight will do it. Win on points likely tho.
another £110 on Haye... this will be nervy/exiting. Haye should win but if its points it will be a robbery im thinking just like holyfield. I should listen to Kassa after last time but i feel he will be to skilled.

i don't get this.Valuev was winning match by points and then Hayes came up with few punches in last round and got the winner.i smell Don King again, sounds dodgy to me as haye didn't show anything special just few punches in round 12.crazy

very close fight imo i thought Valuev did well and Haye couldnt or didnt choose to attack as much as i thought. Maybe just because the height and reach and Haye will do well against smaller heavys.

Im lost for words really Haye caught him with some flashy shots but i didnt feel he won that fight not by the margin the two judges had him, maybe im old school and have seen so many fights were, fighters who choose to fight on the back foot for the entire fight need to be active in short bursts in the rounds atleast to win the round.. you could'nt even say haye was in bursts it was more like 1 punch and run.
Nothing against him though because it's not as if Valuev knew how to close his opponent down and cut the ring off so prob he didnt deserve to win either... dificult fight to call but usually things like this go towards home fighters so im quite superised Valuev did'nt get the nod.
Good for british boxing though Haye should have the beating of most heavyweights apart from the Klitchco brothers.

Both fighters traded pretty low but Valuev went lowest i think.1.4 or so. Haye went to about 4 ish
Just before the decision was made you could put up a back of either for 2.2 and get matched easy. The market didnt have a clue what way to go!!! I guess at that stage the draw was also very possible
