Does that mean you paid $5.50 to sit at the table and you are in with a chance of winning 5K??

Yes, I'm not that familiar with poker. Big Grin

It was $15k sorry

paid $5.50 to get in the tournament. It had a guaranteed prizepool of $15k, but the number of entrants (3816) pushed that up to $19k

winner gets around $2.5k. Only guaranteed $105 right now, so top 3 is my first aim Thumbs Up

Sick dude!!

I've been experiencing it too making 2 small final tables this week and getting donked on both.

Still a good win though, that kind of stuff would do wonder to my challenge bank.

Rebuy over, $9.30 spent, new bank at $95.46

Well I was running well up until this limping short stacked donk on A7 called my KK raise, flopped the mid pair and called for the rest of his chips. Then all in K10 against 88 and I'm out in 416th place for $20.87 which puts the bank at all time high!!
easy

New Bank: $116.33

Although I'd also wonder whether you wouldn't be better off adding in $100 cash to your efforts to avoid having to muck about for 3-4 months at this level.

To me $100 to $10,000 is just as impressive and proves the point - without all the tedious low value free-rolls.

Food for thought?

Well in the end I manage to get my $100 but it was hard work.

Now on to $100 to $10.000 part of the challenge!!

I'm going to play a tight $5 rebuy to the Daily Eighty Grand as a one off and see what happens. I win about 45% of these so I expect to win here.
