Gotta take on Wolfsburg tonight in Turkey, German teams away in Europe just dont do it for me. I am also taking Bayern Munich to beat Bordeaux and will do the home win double.

With Robben coming off the bench, I'd expect maybe a 2-1 or 3-1 win.

I don't normally like saying a team "has to win" but Bayern really, really do so my 2 bets will be Bayern at 1.80 and maybe a bit of Toni anytime at 2.25.

...I see that there will be plenty of Bayern backers tonight...as I have said before, Bayern without Ribery and Robben are a mediocre side IMO...I have decided not to back Bayern until those two are back...they really lack creativity and are unable to unlock defenses...

...Bordeaux are a decent side, they have shown they can get results (draw in Turin) and I certainly think they are capable of getting somthing from this match NO BET for me...

Bordeaux win 2:0

Not a surprising scoreline for me...as I said, Bayern are just an average side without Ribery and Robben...I would advice punters not to back them until both are back and on form...

Marseille have Lucho Gonzalez out and they will miss him as he is important, but otherwise have a strong line up of Brandao and Niang available, and Morientes as back up...

Zurich of course stunned Europe with that 1:0 win at the San Siro, but I don't think they can repeat their heroics this time around...

Marseille to WIN @ 1.30 Confidence 8/10

I will play a double of Marseille + Real x2 at odds of almost evens...

Well Man Utd managed to safe the point once more in the last minutes. Don´t understand why everyone wasso sure of them winning.

He played the whole second half, went in as a substitute to Klose in 46th minute....he had only one shot on goal and he missed the target.

At first he played on the right side, then switched to the left but he couldn`t get past Bordeaux defenders.

It was obvious that he lacks his speed....it seemed to me that he is not match fit yet, but Van Gaal took the risk anyway.

...just saw the highlights, Robben was definitely not fully fit, yet he still managed to have arguably Bayern's best chance in the second half...I have no doubt that a fully fit Robben would have been able to unlock the Bordeaux defence at least a couple of times...

...anyway, the point I was making before, and I firmly stan by it, is that Robben and Ribery are Bayern's most important and influential players, and that one should seriously consider whether its worth backing Bayern without those two...

Niko, it seems to me that you are trying to prove otherwise?

No, not at all. As a matter of fact i agree with you that those two are Bayern`s most important players, i just wanted to say that Robben or no Robben, Bayern are a mediocre side this year, just like you previously mentioned.

I watched Bayern with those two and without those two players this year and they still play rubbish football most of the games. Probably the team chemistry is low and they are still adapting (for how long i wonder Roll Eyes)

I have just read that many of the players dislike methods of work that Van Gaal practices. Their main star Ribery said that he does not understand the training sessions(?!)

Lee McCulloch is fit to return for Rangers in the vital Champions League game away to Unirea Urziceni in a welcome boost to boss Walter Smith.
The midfielder has been out of action since suffering a thigh injury during the draw with Hibernian last month.
He travelled with the rest of the team to Bucharest on Tuesday and is expected to play a part in Wednesday night's game against the Romanian champions, as Rangers seek to make amends for the 4-1 thrashing in their last game.
However, Madjid Bougherra has been ruled out as he has still not recovered from the knee injury he picked up in training a few weeks ago.

Rangers (from): McGregor, Whittaker, Papac, Weir, McCulloch, Lafferty, Davis, Thomson, Rothen, Novo, Naismith, Miller, Beasley, Smith, Fleck, Boyd, Wilson, Alexander.

Sevilla my favorite team will take that game on my opinion, they are too much on that group..
This team just playing amazing, and even when they didn't managed to get results on last games, without some key players, they just played well,I've seen their matches they are big on so much teams in Spain and Europe.
Sevilla will go for the win, play without any pressure, with fanatic crowed, well I just can't Sevilla losing any point, win should promise the first place on that group tomorrow night,so it would be happen even on first half.

just looking through some of the bets on willhill
1 that looks like a great bet is in the arsenal match
handicap on the corners arsenal - 3.5 at 1.67
i think that AZ will play a serious defensive match and i can see arsenal having at least 6 0r 7 more corners good luck

Well, I was bloody naive and thrown by the 1.80 price.

My big pick for tonight is Sevilla with a -1 handicap @ 2.37. 9 out of 12 games this season Sevilla have won with a -1 handicap. And out of the 7 games stuggart have lost, they have lost by more than one goal 5 out of 7 times. Those stats are good enough for me, Sevilla at home obviously as well, knowing if they win, they qualify and they can concentrate on catching Barca and Real in the league.

Oh and Stuttgart are missing a load of players.

If this bet loses that's it for me and betting on the champions league.

I don´t like the Sevilla game as the draw will see them through to the next round. No bet for me.

I think SEVILLA are real dark horses in this comp, and Id rather take them at 20/1 than real Madrid at 13/2. Its not out of the question that they could do a Porto and go all the way, they have enough top players to do it.

there will be lots of goals in the arsenal game. van persie is 3/1 first goalscorer at bet365. and if you back him e/w he is 1/1 to score anytime. too good to miss?

also fabergas is playing out of his skin, and his runs deep from midfield gives him oppurtunities to score. 2/1 to score anytime.

lyon v liverpool will be an interesting game. liverpool could turn up with any team. my only bet will be to back the team that goes behind.

Sevilla really are in top form and I really don't buy this "only need a draw, so will only get a draw" crap. I'm sure the stats would back me up as well. So I still think the -1 is a good bet.

My other bets are over 2.5 in Lyon vs Liverpool, as well as over 4.5 cards in that game. This ref loves flashing his card for cynical fouls and there'll be plenty of them tonight. We could see 8+ cards tonight.

My final bet is Arsenal v AZ, goal after 25 minutes. AZ are going 1 up front and will defend and look to get into half time at 0-0 and then try and hit Arsenal on the break.

By the way, Marcel Desailly is a disgustingly bad pundit isn't he?

Andriy Shevchenko scores for Dynamo Kiev (helped by a deflection) and Dynamo lead Inter Milan 1-0 at HT!

I bet he liked that! Love to see Mourinho's face as that went in ...

What about Shevchenko`s face as they lost the match in the final 4 minutes...too bad for Dynamo but Inter played much better in the second half.
