A nice opening match to begin this years Premier League tournament. If you have been following the various Snooker competitions this year, you will have noticed that Ding Junhui's form has certainly dipped below his usual high standard of playing and that can only be worrying for his first match. Mark Selby on the other hand has been playing rather well of late and I am suprised not to see him being made the favourite tonight. Although it will be a close match with the possibility of a draw, I would take Selby just to edge the win.

Ronnie O'Sullivan v John Higgins
Another great match to enjoy, and Ronnie (The Rocket) O`Sullivan should open his Premier League account against an inform John Higgins. In the N.I. Trophy event, Higgins played very well and should he continue his good form, he will definately give Ronnie a good match. In saying that, O`Sullivan has been in superb form and is rightly the outright favourite for the whole tournament. I would take O`Sullivan to get the highest break in this match and also a small win bet on him as well.
