A great final round in prospect today and a tasty appetiser for the glorious 4 days at Royal Birkdale next week.

There have been a couple of 64's this week (-7) so it is possible to come from way off the pace to win, especially if conditions are favourable. They werent yesterday and 66 was the best score.
Its a bit like Deja Vu all over again with McDowell and Fisher right up there, and McDowell goes out last again. Simon Khan partners him this time and the Englishman is playing his best golf in a poor year (98th ranked. He won The Wales Open in 2004, his only tour win, and did so from being in the final pairing (3 shots behind Paul Casey).
McDowell is having a great year (ranked 9th) with a win and 4 top 5's. He finished 1th in this event last year (-9), finishing with a 67. I was impressed with the way he dug in last week after a bad start to his final round and it was no disgrace to finish behind the brilliance of Fisher and Garcia.
Ross Fisher is on an incredible roll, -28 for his last 7 rounds and he might not have played his best round of the week yet. He is -4 for front and back 9's and is proving that last week was no fluke.
Poulter is -7 and has only bogeyed 2 holes all week, with none on the back 9. Hes not a player I could back with any confidence but he is very capable of getting involved in the finish today.
Westwood is playing such steady golf you cannot discount him, but I feel he may figure in the finish next week rather than this week.
If you are having a bet you have to have McDowell in there as a saver at least. If he shoots 67 or 68 then I think it eliminates all bar Fisher and Khan. You can back all 3 and come out in profit, and at worst you will have an interest until the final hole. £25 staked at betfair prices will return £55.

Really gone off the boil with the golf. Struggling with finding even a place or two and have been kicking myself recently as a couple of winners have popped up the week after backing them. Was on Singh last week and have backed Kim the last two when he has had poor weekends.
