What an interesting match to start the day and you would expect this to be very tight to call. I have watched Harold in his last few matches and it has to be said that he is a very good player and probably should not be opposed in this match, but I will be doing just that as I think Ali Carter is a class act and is certainly a more confident player. I will be honest and say that the stakes will be low on this bet, but Carter should prevail.

Ronnie O`Sullivan v Liang Wenbo
You simply cannot ignore the fact that Ronnie O`Sullivan is in a different class to the other players on the circuit, and although it is not the match that Ronnie would have prefered to start the tournament with, I cannot see him being beat today. Without a doubt Liang Wenbo is a promising talent and he will certainly be a player to watch out for in the future, but he will struggle against O`Sullivan today.
