First time i`ve posted my football up so here goes. Trying to stick with teams still with something to play for in my combo barring the orient my local team and awful at the mo

all prices with the tote

Stoke 11/8
Swansea 11/10
Oldham (against the o`s) 10/11
Hereford 17/10
Rochdale 11/10

any 4 from 5 @ £5 =£25
£5 win acca total of £30

Others to watch at bigger prices

West Ham away to Bolton
Being a spurs fan i know exactly how much it means to all the Hammers fans to finish above the lilywhites and 15/8 is a massive price against the woeful Bolton

Newcastle away to Portsmouth @ 9/4
Newcastle have enjoyed a mini revival and Portsmouth who were less than impressive against West Brom will have one eye on keeping key players rotated for the final.

I will be backing these in two singles and a double

The peterboro v Stockport game almost interested me as Peterboro are all but promoted and Stockport are vying for the play offs but 12/5 available on Stockport wasn`t quite temping enough but i will keep an eye on their web site on the likely starting 11 the day before to decide whether it`s worth taking the chance

GL all Thumbs Up

Can`t believe Rochdale let me down for the 5 timer but the 4 fold @£5 paid £128.54 and had two losses on the big price singles and sods law i left Stockport alone @ 12/5 and they go and win, what with that and my golf betting going wrong on the sports betting side a little disapointed but so close on the footy have gotta double up this weekend and depending on the price gotta smash into doncaster against the woeful Orient, I just don`t know how they could be looking at automatic promotion at christmas because they`re showing relegation form now how does a team deteriorate that quickly?????
Will post selections later in the week Thumbs Up

Decided although it`s very late in the season i`m gonna keep a diary of football bets and will now place all stakes alongside bets the two singles i had were for 25 pounds each so with an outlay of £80 this weekend and a return of 128.54 leaves a profit of 48.54,(only reason it was a bad weekend had a ton on tiger) so lets see if i can come up with something for the weekend ????
The bets will all be pretty similar 4 from 5 and accas with odd value singles and will update on the monday as horses and beer get in the way on saturdays and the kids take up my sundays Thumbs Up

Well here i goes again got my coupon from the tote yesterday and they`ve skipped a few matches out and can`t be bothered to check all the sites for best prices so for my main bet it has to be £100 on Doncaster Rovers to beat the woeful O`s the form the O`s are in at the moment Doncaster Belles could beat them (Sorry Orient fans but i had such high hopes at the start of the season)

Bradford 10/11 Leeds 21/20
Notts Co 6/4 Doncaster ev
Chesterfield 11/10 West Brom 11/10

any 5 from 6 @ £5 = £30
£5 acca total bet £35

Two mainly speculative bets ;

Bournmouth away to Walsall 3/1 (ladbrokes)
Seems a huge price on one of the form teams in division 1 against a Walsall team who seem to have hit a brick wall second half of the season and in and out is the only way to describe their form

Port Vale away to Swindon 10/3 (tote)
Again you may think i`m mad but apart from being bottom PV`s form hasn`t been as bad as you`d think and out of their last 6 games They`ve W3 D2 L1 and with Swindon`s season drifting away like a silent fart i`m quite willing to take a small risk

will play with 2 £5 win singles £5 win double
taking my total outlay to £150 this week fingers crossed i`ll have some money left at the end of the weekend Thumbs Up

Cheers for that gets quite difficult this time of year but the rewards can be great as some teams can be overpriced against teams that have nothing to play for.
I`m always watching Thumbs Up

Hi all on a retrieval mission this week,was tempted to back barca against man utd in the week glad i didn`t but i still feel utd were lucky and will have to be more positive in the second leg and have a feeling barca may be better on the counter,but will have to wait and see. As for this weekend i`ve stared at the coupon for 2 days now and am beginning to question whether this is a good idea or not but there are some good prices on offer almost good enough to just back singles, but i want the biggees so here goes

Man utd 17/10
Crystal Palace 8/5
Northampton 6/4
Wolves 8/5
Bournemouth 21/20
Wycome 7/4
as always any 5 from 6 : 6 bets @ £5 =£30
and a £5 acca £ 5
total £35

this week i`m going to have a div2 treble
MK Dons evens;
Really feel they`ll want to tie the div up this week in style against a solid bradford side whose season started late and have missed out on the play-offs. Bradford will no doubt be one of the favourites for automatic promotion next year but have nothing to play for now and fully expect a resounding 1-0 to the Dons.
Peterborough 5/6;
Probably the most exciting team to watch in the division and although their pretty much guarateed 2nd are the most likely winners against a Grimsby side who have nothing to play for.
Hereford 5/6 ;
Again hereford are playing a side in Brentford who are in mid-table obscurity with nothing to play for and with Hereford`s decent away record i fancy the away win.

In all honesty I was thinking of doing the top 6 as my 5 from 6 but it`s never that easy and something will allways come and bite you in the ar*e.
So a £20 treble on that will hopefully pull me a nice profit, but unfortunately i`m not finished and this is my downfall.

At 17/10 with the tote (maybe available at bigger) i`m gonna have £50 on Man Utd and although a draw seems the most likely result i feel that Chelsea have only two options.
1; Chelsea have more chance of winning the Champions league than of the premier league and although it is unlikely Avram Grant will field a weakened side i doubt that he will go in all guns blazing.
2; If he does decide to have a real go then Man utd will probably do what they did wednesday and sit back and soak it up. The more that Chelsea push the more stretched on the break they will become and the two R`s are a diffrent class at that.
3; Even if neither of these happen can you remember the last time you saw a price like 17/10 about utd home or away???
I doubt you`ll see it again any time soon.
And finally i`m gonna chance half that stake on Liverpool @6/5.
I know they`ll be concentrating on the Champions league but christ it`s Birmingham,surely the `pool have enough quality in their squad to dispose of the brum.
All in all another £130 laid out and i`m down £85 (haven`t got exact figure to hand) so lets see if i can crawl it back,otherwise the holiday`s getting further away Thumbs Up
