1. HORSE SELECTION Select ONE horse from the Ascot 4.20
A layer can choose the favourite by simply posting FAVOURITE (if JF's the horse with the lowest racecard number will be the selection).
2. NAP SELECTIONS A player can NAP a maximum of 4 selections in the 30 FEATURED RACES. Please post NAP alongside the selection in the OFFICIAL RACE THREAD.
3. CHANGING SELECTIONS & EDITING POSTS A player CAN edit entries to change selections, replace NON RUNNERS or to add a NAP.
Please note that if the edit time is after the entry deadline the post is void and the player will score 0 points for the race.
4. POSTS WITH NON-RUNNERS If an entry contains a NR, it will be replaced with the FAVOURITE, or if JF's the horse with the lowest racecard number. If a NAP becomes a non-runner, then the alternative selection becomes the NAP.
5. ENTRY DEADLINE
The entry deadline for R13 is 2.00pm on Friday June 20.
If an entry is made after the deadline the selection will be VOID and the player will score 0 points for the race.
6. DEFAULT ENTRY If no entry is received a player will be given the FAVOURITE, or if JF's the horse with the lowest racecard number.
NOTE - A maximum of 4 default entries is permitted per player.
7. SCORING Points allocated in each race will be as follows.
NB. a DEAD HEAT 1st would score (80+40)/2 = 60pts.
NAP selections score double points.
8. ABANDONMENT If a race is officially abandoned no alternative race will be added to the schedule. If less than 15 races are completed the competition will be declared VOID and and entry fees refunded.
9. COMPETITION WINNER The player with the most points WINS !
10. TIE BREAKER If one or more players are tied for a prize winning position, the player selecting the most winners from the 30 races wins.
If still tied then the player with the most scoring races wins.
If still tied the player posting first on the final FEATURED RACE wins.
There is downtime scheduled for June 17 at 12.00pm BST while the hosts move sites. This could last for 24hrs.
For R9 and R10 entries will be accepted by email to info@bestofthebets.co.uk only if the board is offline.
Please include the following in your email entries.

MESSAGE BOARD NAME - ??? RACE - R9 or R10 SELECTION - ?????
The time of the entry will be the time on the email.
Please do not leave it late to enter R9 and R10. If you think you cannot make the deadline do not enter and you will get a DEFAULT ENTRY. All late entries score 0.
